Benefits of CBD Oil – Could CBD Oil Relieve Your Condition?

Your Wellness Is Our Passion   REPORT   Benefits of CBD Oil – Could CBD Oil Relieve Your Condition? By Marty Loughlin     When my wife was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer only to be followed by my youngest son being diagnosed with a brain tumor, we were desperate to find alternatives to the conventional treatments that their doctors prescribed to treat them. During our research to determine alternative treatment options, our family learned about and implemented the healing properties of CBD, also known as cannabidiol.  I want to share all of the amazing benefits of CBD that my research uncovered in this report.     CBD is one of more than 80 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. While THC is the most widely known cannabinoid found in the marijuana plant, CBD is quickly becoming just as well known in the medical community. CBD comes primarily from the hemp plant which falls under the cannabis umbrella like its cousin the marijuana plant. While THC is psychoactive (causes a high) and is still illegal in most states, CBD is non-psychoactive (no high and anti-anxiety) and legal in all 50 states when derived from the hemp plant according to FDA regulations. CBD actually has a more wide variety of applications and benefits than THC and some of the other most well known cannabinoids.   What are CBD’s benefits?     How does CBD compare to THC in certain applications?     CBD has recently become one of the most researched substances on the planet due to all of its medicinal uses. If you search the term “cannabanoid” on, you would find over 18,000 studies published on them, and over 1300 studies on cannabadiol (CBD)!   Luckily, we’ve saved you the work of sifting through all of these by listing the more notable studies alphabetically by associated condition below. The U.S. government has known about the healing benefits of CBD for years having filed a patent on cannabinoids as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant back in 1999 as can be seen here.  While THC continues to be a class 1 drug making it illegal in most states, and nearly all synthetic cannabanoids manufactured by pharmaceutical companies haven’t passed phase 3...

Which Fruits Have the Lowest Sugar Content?

Feb 04

For anyone looking to lower their sugar intake, or are facing things such as cancer or diabetes, it’s important to know that not all fruits are created equal when it comes to the amount of sugar that they have.  With that in mind, let’s take a look at how different types of fruit stack up when it comes to the amount of sugar and carbohydrates that they have. I’m often asked by people (especially those who are overcoming cancer and want to limit their sugar intake) which fruits are ones to gravitate to vs. staying away from.  Let’s look at some of the most popular choices and the corresponding amounts of sugar per cup:   Grapes: 23 grams/cup   Bananas: 18 grams/cup   Oranges: 17 grams/cup   Pineapple: 16 grams/cup   Apples: 13 grams/cup (Granny Smith is the lowest at 10 grams)     Strawberries: 8 grams/cup   Blackberries: 7 grams/cup   Berries of all kinds including strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries are the go to fruit of choice when it comes to lowering carbohydrates and sugar intake.  Buying only organic produce that is free from pesticides and in season is the most important thing to keep in mind.  This is especially true if that fruit is on the dirty dozen list.   When out of season, we buy organic frozen berries such as the ones seen here:                             It should be said that we’re a big fan of Granny Smith apples too as they are low in calories (about 52), carbohydrates (about 14 grams) and sugar (about 10 grams per cup). If you feel that this can be helpful to those wanting answers to which fruits may be the best choice for their situation, please share! To Your Health!    ...

Changing the Conversation on Cancer

Jan 07

As I internalized the recent passing of Stuart Scott to complications from his cancer battle, my thoughts turned to all of the brave men, women and children that I have connected with over the past two years during my wife and son’s battles who we have lost to this diseasse.  I also thought about the close friends and family members who we’ve also lost over the years.  It was then that I realized that I can’t simply focus on the bravery that they demonstrated in how they fought, but that we absolutely have to change the dialogue around cancer in this country as well.  Some tough questions need to start being asked about how we approach a cancer diagnosis through conventional means in our country.  Why are so many getting this disease?  Why are we losing so many that do?   The status quo simply isn’t good enough. That’s what I plan to do over the next month in honor of Stuart Scott’s passing.  Starting a dialogue that focuses on what is contributing to the rise in our cancer epidemic, and properly healing the body, not attacking tumors.  One that addresses root causes, and not masking symptoms.  Our conventional cancer care industry is failing us with the results that we see today, and we simply cannot accept it any longer.  When one learns that they have cancer, it’s not simply a condition that needs to be “attacked” with one of the three options that conventional cancer care gives us (chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery), it’s the bodies way of alerting us to an underlying problem or root cause that needs to be addressed.  Shrinking or removing a tumor simply does not address these root causes, and many times leads to a compromised immune system, which in turn leads to death or an eventual recurrence.  There are steps that need to be taken properly to address these root causes that conventional medicine simply chooses to ignore.  My research has led me to believe that these steps include the following: • Detoxifying the body • Implementing anti microbial therapy to kill parasites, fungus, bacteria, viruses • Implementing non toxic therapies • Stimulating the immune system • Introducing proper nutrition • Delivering oxygen to...

Don’t Wait For a Cure for Cancer, Know and Avoid the Causes

Dec 09

For years, a well meaning public in this country who has continued to lose their friends and loved ones to cancer has been tricked by the industry into donating, walking, praying, buying pink, and most recently dumping ice buckets on themselves to find a cure.  All the while, we’ve been distracted from ever asking ourselves what could be the root causes behind the massive increases in cancer that we have faced in recent years. Rather than sitting back and waiting for a magic bullet that will seemingly never come, now more than ever, our country needs to shift our discussion to the causes.  When you know the causes, you know the cure.  If you believe the cancer industry and the pharmaceutical companies are on your side, remember this, us staying sick is what keeps them in business and keeps the pharmaceutical companies profiting.  If you doubt this, then watch the segment that 60 minutes recently ran on the cost of cancer drugs here. Since Richard Nixon declared war on cancer as a nation in 1971 and vowed to find a cure for it, we’ve seen the expectancy rates of getting cancer in one’s lifetime jump from 1 in 10 to 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women.  Our “war on cancer” couldn’t be more of a dismal failure.  As we entered the 1960’s we challenged ourselves as a nation to reach the moon within a decade and succeeded.  Here we are 4 decades after declaring war on cancer and these are the results.  All because we have been tricked by the industry into focusing on a cure instead of questioning what has changed since then. I won’t focus on crossing my fingers that the research will find that magic cure that will seemingly never come.  What I will do though is to shed some light on what has changed since we planted our flag against cancer in 1971 and the undeniable link between those changes and the rate of cancer we have seen.  Again, if you know the causes, then you know the cure.  So what has changed since then? Quite simply, our food has.  In this blog, I will cover the two things that add up...

Stressed out? Learn A Probable Cause And What You Can Do.

Nov 18

Have any stress in your life?  That’s a loaded question since we all do!  It’s just a matter of to what degree.  I’m hearing more and more people saying that their lives are becoming more stressful lately, and I want to tackle what may be a major contributing factor for many people.  That potential cause could be a dramatic rise in EMF’s or electro magnetic frequencies that we are bombarded with on a daily basis.  Never heard of them?  Most people haven’t. Okay, so what are EMF’s?  They are invisible radio waves that bombard us throughout our day that can throw our bodies out of balance and thereby lead to stress in our lives.  What are the sources?  The main culprits are cell phones and the cell towers that they communicate with, laptops and tablets and the wifi  that they connect to, satellite dishes, electrical wires and many more.  We are surrounded by a potentially toxic soup of wavelengths that negatively affect us throughout our day. How and why does this happen?  The field of quantum physics has recently discovered that at the sub atomic level, our bodies all resonate at a certain frequency.  This is called the Schumman Resonance, and it explains that when our bodies are in balance, they will resonate at the frequency of 7.83 Hz, just as the earth should.  With the continual introduction of more sources of varying frequencies in our world, this delicate balance becomes more disturbed.  This has the power to negatively impact animals that rely on this frequency to do things like migrate, as well as humans in our everyday lives.  The result can lead to elevated stress, foggy thinking, headaches and worse in some people who are more sensitive to these effects. Doctors are now also beginning to link extended use of cell phones to brain tumors and cancer.  When I learned this, it definitely got my attention after what my family has had to face recently.   So what did we do about it?  I came to find that there is technology available that can protect one’s biofield or the area surrounding the body from the toxic soup of frequencies being given off.  That technology is SRT or Sympathetic Resonance...
