Benefits of CBD Oil – Could CBD Oil Relieve Your Condition?

What is CBD


When my wife was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer only to be followed by my youngest son being diagnosed with a brain tumor, we were desperate to find alternatives to the conventional treatments that their doctors prescribed to treat them. During our research to determine alternative treatment options, our family learned about and implemented the healing properties of CBD, also known as cannabidiol.  I want to share all of the amazing benefits of CBD that my research uncovered in this report.

CBD is one of more than 80 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. While THC is the most widely known cannabinoid found in the marijuana plant, CBD is quickly becoming just as well known in the medical community. CBD comes primarily from the hemp plant which falls under the cannabis umbrella like its cousin the marijuana plant.


While THC is psychoactive (causes a high) and is still illegal in most states, CBD is non-psychoactive (no high and anti-anxiety) and legal in all 50 states when derived from the hemp plant according to FDA regulations. CBD actually has a more wide variety of applications and benefits than THC and some of the other most well known cannabinoids.

How does CBD compare to THC in certain applications?




CBD has recently become one of the most researched substances on the planet due to all of its medicinal uses. If you search the term “cannabanoid” on, you would find over 18,000 studies published on them, and over 1300 studies on cannabadiol (CBD)!   Luckily, we’ve saved you the work of sifting through all of these by listing the more notable studies alphabetically by associated condition below.

The U.S. government has known about the healing benefits of CBD for years having filed a patent on cannabinoids as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant back in 1999 as can be seen here.  While THC continues to be a class 1 drug making it illegal in most states, and nearly all synthetic cannabanoids manufactured by pharmaceutical companies haven’t passed phase 3 trials to make them available in the U.S., CBD derived from hemp is legal and available to people who can benefit from it in all 50 states right now. 

Fox News recently ran a story on the potential health benefits of CBD derived from hemp oil and interviewed Ty Bollinger who recently produced an incredible 11 part series called “The Quest For the Cures” about underlying causes and alternative treatments for cancer.  Here’s what he had to say:

  3. Does this show up as a failure on a drug test?

      Most employers test for THC found in marijuana, not CBD which is found in hemp, so it shouldn’t be an issue.

      No, it will not interfere with prescription meds. In most cases, it will lessen harmful side effects as well.
